Yes that’s exactly what I meant, sorry fold, I think, is abletons term for that said: I believe the suggestion is that if you could have a button that removed all non used notes (even the ones between any notes used), it would feel more like a drum sequencer input device and help save room if you’ve left gaps between notes because you have spread your pads out or for whatever reason, chosen notes that are further apart (maybe due to certain imported midi patterns being spread across the note range).

The piano roll shows all the notes, even ones that do not correspond to sound on a Slate note. I think I get what is asking for, although I may be wrong.
